Also for the trouble/pointing out the translation notes. Some of them are really interesting or something like "good to know".
no subject
I don't include a note every time I opt for a non-literal translation (there'd be SO many notes!), but when I think it's particularly notable, or interesting... :) With Lelouch's sash, for example, you can't even see most of what it says, although Kallen did helpfully use the same word on the previous page. ;) (今日の主役 -- it actually means "leading actor" or "leading part", but it's been used before in Code Geass meta to refer to the principal characters.)

Thats right, picking something up here and there. Or to (better) understand some of culteral differences/behavior and meanings.
Especially japanese, where one kanji can mean a lot of different things/meanings, for example.
Thanks again for pointing out and explaining some of them in more detail. :)

Sorry, DW peeps miss the tumblr-only updates I do. Re; was supposed to be released last Friday, but it was pushed to this Friday. With the time zone, chapters tend to come out between 9 and 11pm the day before, but that's not the most feasible time to translate when you work full time. :)

If you make a DW account, you'll be able to set it to notify you when I update. :) You can choose to only get notifications about posts tagged with "Lelouch the tutor", or "code geass manga" if you're interested in all my manga translations but nothing else.
The next chapter will drop on January 24th!
