I actually had forgotten about this until sleppyninja Tumblr reblog the post.
I just checked your account yesterday and there's no update so I thought it would be a while before the next update.
What a nice surprise.

Yeah, I made the mistake of assuming the chapter would still be at the same URL as Re;, but it's not — and it's funny that I didn't think to check sooner, because I was hoping they'd be separated like this, so that fans could decide for themselves whether Re;surrection is a sequel to Re; or not.

the girl next to Kallen when arriving is Miya I. Hilmick who was a minor character that appeared in the Love Attack episode, who also was in the wedding photo making the same pose as Rivalz did. this is for the talk about the absence of Shirley from the Tumblr comments.

Well! You are absolutely right, that looks much more like Miya than it does like Shirley. Post updated. :)

the changes

Yeah, also if you remmber the 3rd Re; chapter showed the scene of Shirley having shot. We also see that the scene Rivalz is talking to Villeta that the person next to him is Milly instead of Shirley like in the movie of the video recording. Also, we see how Kallen has the Key to the Guren and held it, given a call back to when Lelouch as Zero gave it to her for the Guren, instead of how they changed that in the 1st Recap she met with Rakshata who made a earlier appearance to receive the machine.

I mean, yes, but I had thought they were trying to be ambiguous about which timeline they were in.

The re;boot movies were really rushed and very few of the changes made for them were made for any reason other than "time constraints", so I'm not exactly surprised they'd discard most of it if given the opportunity. :)
